Fun things ahead…

I’ve got some great events coming up and I hope to see some of you there!

First, I’ll be lecturing on modern quilting to the CAMEO quilt guild this week on Thursday evening at 7 pm.  Then on Saturday, I’ll be teaching Machine Appliqué there too.  If you are interested in either event, please contact Lori.
The next week is Thanksgiving so I hope you all have a wonderful time with your families!  This will be the first year my older daughter won’t be home.  We’ll definitely miss her, but she’s having such a great experience in England it is worth it.  She’ll be home in just under a month now 🙂
Then it’s Camp Stitchalot!  I can’t believe it is finally here!  We started talking about it last Spring and December sounded so far away 🙂  I’ll be teaching my Holiday Hot Pad and Easy Turn Potholders.

241 Totes
Anna from Noodlehead will be teaching her 241 Tote – her blog post about Camp Stitchalot is here.
Jeni from In Color Order showing us how to make this great pillow.  Won’t that be fun? Her blog post is here.
We’ll be taking over the Hankerd Inn from Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 8 (Thursday, Dec 5 optional) and sewing all weekend!  There will be plenty of time to work on some of your own projects too.  All the teachers will be around all weekend to help out and hang out.  Brenda and Rossie of Pink Castle Fabrics will be there as our official “hostesses”.  Meals are all included and there will be plenty of snacks around too.  There are a few spots left, so sign up here to join the fun!
Finally, on December 12, I’ll be teaching my new Snowflake Tree Skirt pattern at Pink Castle Fabrics!  Join us from 5:30 – 8:30 pm and learn how to make the tree skirt using non-fusible machine appliqué.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a new tree skirt this year – I know you can do it!
I’ve got some more classes coming up in 2014, so check out my “Teaching Schedule” tab above for more information.
