near Elk Rapids, MI

We took a little end of summer vacation to the west side of Michigan.  It is so beautiful there!  It doesn’t matter whether I’m at the northern end near Elk Rapids or the southern end near South Haven, I love it.  It makes me dream of getting away there more often – maybe some day!

For now, back to life as usual – although it does seem odd not to have a child going back to school today.  The first time that is true for me since 1998!  As my younger daughter often says – it’s all good 🙂
