Quilt Auction for Habitat for Humanity

One of our fantastic Ann Arbor Modern Quilt Guild members got a lot of free fabric from Spoonflower. Spoonflower!  Many members made rows, which were then assembled into quilts and those quilts are now being auctioned on ebay to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley.  I had so much fun making my row – it is the top one on the quilt on the right (it looks like three rows but was made as one).

There is a blog post here on the AAMQG website with more detail, but these are both twin sized quilts and the auction runs from yesterday until Sun, Aug 11.  ALL proceeds will go to HHHV.  I’ve long been a fan of Habitat and the fact that those who receive houses are also involved in doing work on houses.  One of these days, I hope I have a chance to pound some nails for them 🙂

I hope you’ll consider making a bid for one of these amazing quilts!  Bid here for the quilt on the left and here for the quilt on the right.

Thank you!
