On Solid Ground:  Patterns of Making #5

The Patterns of Making series began as a sketchbook challenge in late 2020.  In earlier years I used straight lines in my work but had since moved to more organic lines.  With the frustrations and lack of control engendered by the pandemic and other events of 2020, the power of straight lines regained their hold on me.  These designs poured out of me over a few weeks and I set about giving them life.
