Charity Challenge – Final

CCLogo200Just over a year ago, I challenged myself to make a charity quilt each month for the next year and do it from my stash.  I did it!  Ten of the twelve quilts were approximately 36″ x 48″; a size which made it easier, but, nevertheless, I completed 12 charity quilts!

In addition to making the quilts, I created a free pattern for each of them.  You can find them all under “Tutorials” then “Charity Challenge” here on my website.

EqualEHQ250My final quilt in the series, Equal, is so important to me, personally.  Perhaps I should have made it with a rainbow of colors, but, when it comes down to it, I’m just not a rainbow quilter.  Whether you are similar to me, or different, in terms of race, politics, religion, sexual identity, financial status, or any of the many ways people can be alike or not, I hope to meet you with kindness, respect and the knowledge that we all have value in this world.

Congratulations on finishing your goal. And much thanks for the charity quilt inspiration patterns. I have filed a couple of them away for my charity sewing.

Congratulations on meeting your goal! I am so impressed that each of the quilts are different, and that you generously shared the pattern for each of them.
