I wrote a book!

CoverIf it is on Amazon, it must be true!  I can’t believe it is almost here!  (Well, in March, anyway).

It has been a goal of mine to write a book for a long time now, but, over the years, none of the topics I considered felt right.  Then, about a year and a half ago, I realized lines were the perfect theme!  I love designing and creating quilts that feature lines as the major design element.  The ability to use multiple techniques made lines the right subject as well.

I love piecing and appliqué, including bias appliqué, and all three techniques are used in the book.  Lines by Design Quilts includes 17 projects in 5 chapters.  Each chapter focuses on a shape and includes a small project and two or three larger projects.  I’ll go into more detail as the actual publication date gets closer.

You can pre-order from me or from Amazon.  I can’t compete with Amazon on price, but, if you order from me, I will personally sign your book!

I’m so proud of the quilts in this book and I can’t wait to share them with you!  I hope you’ll love them as much as I do.

I’m so excited for you Debbie. Love the concept of focusing on the design element of lines. It’s very reflective of your work. Don’t know how you can wait till March for it to be out?
