24 Nov I wrote a book!
If it is on Amazon, it must be true! I can’t believe it is almost here! (Well, in March, anyway).
It has been a goal of mine to write a book for a long time now, but, over the years, none of the topics I considered felt right. Then, about a year and a half ago, I realized lines were the perfect theme! I love designing and creating quilts that feature lines as the major design element. The ability to use multiple techniques made lines the right subject as well.
I love piecing and appliqué, including bias appliqué, and all three techniques are used in the book. Lines by Design Quilts includes 17 projects in 5 chapters. Each chapter focuses on a shape and includes a small project and two or three larger projects. I’ll go into more detail as the actual publication date gets closer.
You can pre-order from me or from Amazon. I can’t compete with Amazon on price, but, if you order from me, I will personally sign your book!
I’m so proud of the quilts in this book and I can’t wait to share them with you! I hope you’ll love them as much as I do.
