Honorable Mention

Clerestory

Hi everyone!
I know this post is super late.  Crazy life, blah, blah, blah… 🙂

I just found out that my quilt, Clerestory, received an honorable mention at the Pacific International Quilt Festival!  I’m so excited!

I made this quilt for another reason and haven’t been able to share it yet, but I noticed that the PIQF had a mid-century modern contest and thought this quilt would be perfect for such a category.  So I entered and they accepted the quilt.

While I like to think my quilts are well-made, I don’t usually make them to quilt contest standards which, as the saying goes, are a whole other kettle of fish, so I am thrilled that they were happy enough with it to give it an honorable mention.

I promise I’ll tell you more about the quilt another time – for now I’ve got to keep working on Quilt Market prep and my new website (to be unveiled very soon)!
