Tiny Piecing!

Our A2MQG swap activity next month is teeny, tiny patchwork. The final product doesn’t itself have to be small, but it must include some teeny, tiny patchwork.

Perhaps because I never work small, I decided I have to participate!  So last night I thought I’d give it a try.

This block, Annie’s Choice, has always been one of my favorites.  I started out with 8 2″ squares of green and white, made half square triangles and trimmed them to 1 1/2″.  This block would finish at 4″ square.  That isn’t all that teeny, tiny, but it feels pretty small to me and is a good place to start.

How small do you think a block should be to fit the “teeny, tiny” challenge?  Four inches seems still too big to me.  Maybe 2″ – 2 1/2″?  I’m not sure I’ll be any good at blocks that tiny, but we’ll see how it goes 🙂

Any advice from those of you used to working small is appreciated!

I think this is pretty teeny tiny! If you consider all the little pieces you have to piece together! Yes, this is tiny!!!
