Smash Your Precut Stash!

Hi everyone and welcome to my stop on the Smash Your Precut Stash blog tour!  Isn’t this the best idea for a book!

I don’t really think of myself as someone who can’t resist a good precut but this picture of some of my precut stash tells a different story.

“some” of my precut stash

Well, if your stash of fat quarters, charm packs or jelly rolls is getting a bit out of hand, Kate and Elizabeth of Seams Like a Dream Quilt Designs have a solution for you.

Each quilt in the book is designed for use with a specific precut, but the authors have also given instructions for how to cut other precuts if you’d prefer to use them. They’ve also provided advice on how to choose the background and coordinating fabrics to use with your precut.

Picturesque

Two of my favorites from the book are Picturesque and Mediterranean Mosaic.  Picturesque is made using charm packs and Mediterranean Mosaic uses fat quarters.  Aren’t they pretty?

Mediterranean Mosaic

C&T Publishing is giving away a book at each stop on the blog tour!  US residents will receive hard copy books and international winners will receive ebooks.  To enter, just tell me which precut is your favorite.  Don’t forget to include your email address in your comment – if I can’t reach you, you can’t win!  I’ll choose a winner at random at the end of the day on April 30.

Visit the other stops on the blog tour for more chances to win!

I love FQ's but if I want smaller pieces I'll usually grab a charm pack. I don't seem to use a lot of layer cakes though. This book looks great and I really like the Mediterranean Mosaic quilt. Thanks for the chance to win!
