On the road again!

This week is my biannual retreat with my Handwork group!  It is perfect timing. I got back from Quilt Market in Houston last Tuesday night and was useless for several days*.  Now, I’m ready to go again!

As usual with quilters going on retreat, I’m taking far more projects than I could possibly finish!  This photo does not include any clothes yet 🙂

I have one small quilt to make for a blog tour I’ll be part of in about ten days.  I have some quilting to finish on another quilt, another quilt that I could make start to finish and a third that needs to be pinned and quilted.  I’m leaving this morning and will be home again Thursday afternoon – think I’ll have enough to keep me busy?  I added that last quilt to be pinned and quilted “just in case”.

Retreats are the best – what could beat sewing for days with friends?!

*Quilt Market is fantastic and fun, but a lot of hard work.  Going full speed for 12 hours a day for that many days means my brain is in recovery mode when I get home 🙂
