Sedimentary is here!

Sedimentary

So many of you have asked about a pattern for Sedimentary since I first made it, that I am thrilled to announce that the pattern is officially available!

I made the grey and orange version right after I got a new (grey) couch and (orange) chair for my living room a couple of years ago.  It looks great in the room and the throw size has been thoroughly tested and approved for naps by yours truly.

I love to make two version of my patterns when I can, so earlier this year I decided to use the Pantone Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, as inspiration for the accent section. I indulged myself in low volume fabrics for the background – this version is the baby sized quilt.

Collecting fabrics for this quilt is such fun!  Or maybe you already have enough in your stash 🙂  The background uses half yards up to full yards (depending on which size you are making).  The accent uses either fat quarters or half yards.

Sedimentary is available in my Etsy and Craftsy shops – or ask your local quilt shop to order it from their distributor.  If you are on Instagram, check out #sedimentaryquilt and add your Sedimentary version to the group.

What fabrics will you use?

I don’t often buy patterns. But, I LOVE the orange and gray together. So, purchased this pattern because I just LOVE it. And can see myself making it many times over if different colors. Thank you!!
