27 Nov Red and Orange…

Last week I put a picture on Instagram that said “I just wanna make something with orange and red!”.  At that moment, I could not set aside the must-do list in favor of the want-to-do list.  I left those fabrics out on my cutting mat and fit them into my to-do list today.

I wanted to make some more potholders to show everyone for Camp Stitchalot next week.  I have quite a few that are made with a single fabric, but I wanted to show some pieced ones.  I also felt like making a block I hadn’t made before.  Do you all know about Quilter’s Cache?  The site is fantastic!  It has tons of quilt blocks and how to make them – everything from a traditional four patch all the way to super new and complicated paper pieced blocks.  So I searched on the size I needed (what a great feature!) and found the Double Quartet block – perfect 🙂  Aahhh, craving satisfied!  Do you get color cravings?

By the way, there are still some spots left if you want to come to Camp next week!
