Camp Stitchalot

Perfect for a 9″ x 13″ pan!

I can’t wait for December! This isn’t something I usually say in July, but this year, I’ll be teaching at Camp Stitchalot December 5 – 8.

If you don’t know about Camp Stitchalot, it is like summer camp, only better, because we get to sew and learn and sew some more.  December’s camp focuses on smaller projects to give as gifts to your family, friends or yourself.  I’ll be teaching a unique method to make pot holders and a super useful and fun hot pad perfect for big gatherings any time of year.  Jeni Baker of In Color Order will be sharing a wonderful new pillow design and Anna Graham of Noodlehead will be teaching us her 241 Tote.

I made the casserole hot pad above yesterday afternoon using the fantastic Collage by Carrie Bloomston of SUCH Designs for Windham Fabrics.  Isn’t that bird border print too cute!  Collage will be in Brenda’s shop any day now.  I couldn’t resist those Melody Miller dishes for a pot holder too!

The sewing room at Camp Stitchalot is open all the time, so there will be lots of extra time for any sewing you’d like to work on too.  Anna, Jeni and I, along with hosts Brenda of Pink Castle Fabrics and Rossie of Fresh Modern Quilts will be right there the whole time, sewing alongside you and happy to help with any issues you might have.

Camp is from Friday through Sunday with the option to add Thursday as well.  Find all the details here.  So, are you in?

(BTW, you should also check out the AMAZING teachers Brenda and Rossie have lined up for the August Camp Stitchalot!)
