30 Mar Confetti Maze

This is a fun new version of my Triangle Maze free pattern download (see sidebar below). (Edited to add that this download is no longer available – see my Craftsy, Etsy or PatternSpot shops to purchase this quilt with six sizes).
Instead of using all the same dark, I used one 3 7/8″ strip of six different colors (plus another few strips for the binding). In addition, I replaced the light and two mediums with all white.
I don’t usually use this much white in my quilts, but I really like how cheerful this quilt seems. It finished at about 45″ x 63″ – a great size for a young child.

I made some HSTs using some of Malka's 5" charm squares, but 140 isn't enough for a quilt. I was resigned to waiting and gradually putting the quilt together over time, but this could solve my problem beautifully.
Thanks so much!
BTW, I made your 3D rectangles quilt for my friend in England. he loves it… it's saving him in this really freezing weather!

I'm with you on the white, but I think I like this one better than the original.

Thanks! I was just awed by your quilt when I saw it on flickr today. I got the pattern and I hope I can make one soon!

The original is great, and I love this too! Amazing how a few small changes can make for such a totally different quilt. You're right; it is very cheery!
